Join us as we, once again, welcome Swordsmanship Museum and Academy historian Jerry Berg to Grimsby Hollow Meadery!

In this presentation, Jerry will break down the worlds of modern Japanese swordsmanship systems and compare them to primary source analysis of 16th and 17th century swordsmanship manuals from the time of Japan's Warring States era. We will explore a bit in terms of Japanese sword typology, battlefield effectiveness, and some of the more overlooked aspects of the Edo period.
